The M5650 lets users snap photos and shoot video with a 3.0 megapixel camera and save that media to their favorite social networks, like Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter.

Users can store music on external microSD cards or listen to music with the built-in FM radio capability. Bluetooth will allow users to make use of hands-free headsets and wireless stereo headphones as well.

The Samsung M5650 is available now in Portugal and will be available throughout Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, India, and China. Pricing details were not available.

Earlier today Samsung announced the release of its SCH-r100 Stunt for MetroPCS. The Stunt is a simple bar shaped phone that features a slim design and a carousel-like menu of icons accessible from the standby screen, as shown on the phone’s 128 x 160 pixel, 65k color display.

The phone features one touch access to messaging, the calendar, and the speakerphone function. Users can send text messages (threaded), picture messages, and email messages easily with the Stunt, and the phone also supports Bluetooth wireless headsets for untangled hands-free calling.

Samsung’s Stunt also features voice dialing and access to MetroPCS’s MetroWEB browsing service. The phone weighs a light 74g (2.6oz) is only 14mm thick. Its battery is rated for up 3.3 hours of talk time or up to 200 hours of standby time.

Samsung has announced the I8910 HD Gold Edition, a premium version of its touchscreen smartphone that features 24 karat gold inlay. The new iteration of the I8910 smartphone is powered by Symbian S60 5th Edition and Samsung’s TouchWiz UI with widget capability. With a focus on multimedia functionality, the phone includes an 8.0 megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording capability. The Gold Edition’s 3.7-inch AMOLED display should have no problems showing off video and photos captured with the device.

Users can store media on 16GB of internal memory and on additional microSD memory cards. They can listen to their own saved music or to traditional programming thanks to its built-in FM radio. Surfing the web is nice and speedy with the Gold Edition’s 3G HSDPA 7.2Mbps data connectivity. The Gold Edition includes an integrated GPS, providing the possibility for location-based features and turn-by-turn navigation. The SCH-W880 comes equipped with a 3.3-inch AMOLED^(INFO) WVGA (800 x 480 pixel) touchscreen display and a realistic digital camera look and feel. It includes a dedicated camera key, fast image writing, and 30fps video recording capability.

The AMOLED 12M cameraphone has an autofocus lens that allows users to select a spot on the touchscreen that they want the camera to focus on. With focus tracking, the device is also able to follow an object if it moves. The phone carries 4GB of internal storage memory and has a microSDHC^(INFO) card slot for memory expansion as well. Users can connect hands-free headsets with Bluetooth or watch television with terrestrial DMB.

Though the AMOLED 12M is the first with an optical zoom, it is not the first handset globally to feature a 12.0 megapixel camera. The first announced was the Sony Ericsson Satio, which we reported on in May. Samsung’s M8910 Pixon12, launched in June, also features a 12.0 megapixel camera.

The Samsung SCH-W880 AMOLED 12M will be available in October in Korea. Pricing has not yet been announced.

While the previous version of the Star series were extremely popular, they did not have Wi-Fi built in. Now, with the announcement of the S5233w, Samsung seems to have “resolved” one of the long-standing demands of users. The addition of Wi-Fi might just boost the sales of the already popular handset. We wonder if the non-inclusion of Wi-Fi with the earlier edition of these phones was deliberate. The reason being that the “just launched” S5233w is exactly the same phone – with just the Wi-Fi chip added. Looks like Samsung is going the Nokia way and adding one feature as an “update” to an older device and giving it a new name!

Running on EV-DO Rev A, the phone offers a “high-definition” 5-megapixel camera and camcorder and “TV-out HD connection” for high-def playback (so presumably records vid in 720p).

Boasting the Opera Mobile 9.7 browser, Wi-Fi capabilities, an light sensor and accelerometer, the new handset also gets a “proximity sensor” with haptic feedback on the QWERTY keyboard.

Other specs include GPS, visual voicemail, Bluetooth 2.0, email and what’s said to be easy access to social networking sites, including Facebook, Flickr and Twitter.

The Instinct HD will be available in the States from 27 September for $249.99 with a new two-year service agreement after a $100 mail-in rebate.

Introduction:

The Samsung Blue Earth S7550 is created with environmental protection in mind. The phone body and packaging are both made from recycled materials and the device features a solar panel that extends its battery life. Unlike most similar devices, this is not all about it. The Samsung Blue Earth S7550 comes packed in a box made from recycled materials, but that´s not all, since that´s what the handset itself is made of. The manufacturer says plastic in its body is made of recycled water bottles. Anyway, we can definitely say the origin of its materials has nothing to do with its great overall feel. Moreover, no substances that can be defined as environmentally harmful have been used in its production. The Blue Earth comes with a nice, appealing design and the mystic blue color of its front side will certainly make it distinguishable in the handset crowd.

Samsung has officially unveiled their latest slider phone namely the Samsung S3100. Measuring 95mm x 47mm x 14.9mm and weighing 99.2 grams, this entry-level phone offers a 2.1-inch TFT display with 176 x 220 pixels, 262k colors, a 1.3MP camera, an MP3 player, a NetFront 3.5 Web browser, email, a microSD card slot, Bluetooth 2.1 and supports quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) connectivity. Its battery provides up to 530 minutes of talk time and up to 490 hours of stand-by time. Pricing and availability are still unknown at the moment.

Well the Samsung i7500 Galaxy, is ready to hit the UK as soon as next week.According to RegHardware, O2 planned to offer the i7500 earlier, but the smartphone’s release was pushed back because it “failed to pass O2’s handset accreditation process.” We’re not sure why this has happened, but now the problem seems to be fixed.
